Cartoons by Caroline

In her first illustration book, cartoonist Caroline Cook brings her signature wit to the topic of parents. The story is told through out of the box characters drawings, quirky pops of color and handwritten font making each family come to life...however "different" or "normal" they may be. Parents are not always a mother or father. Parents can be our sisters, brothers, grandparents or foster parents. Cook shows through comic relief we all come from different families yet we all want to be loved and accepted just the same. The themes in this book are universal: children learning and accepting their parents; respecting all types of people and their choices; dealing with parental figures who may approach life differently. All Types of Parents will show the full range of Caroline Cook's talent as cartoonist and observer.
